Manner + Lane

There’s nothing I know less about than art. Thankfully, the brilliant, self-taught abstract artist, Christina Baker offered to share her wisdom with me in my latest installment in Manner + Lane. Her large, fluid series “Fresh Water” is displayed and sold at “Imagine. American Gallery of Fine Art and Objects” in Franklin, Tenn., and Gregg Irby Fine Art in Atlanta.

“The process,” she says, describing abstract painting, “is so intuitive.” That’s how she feels about art. That’s how I feel about writing.
